Kalamata Olives ( I subbed for Soy Sausage), Daikon Sprouts & Hummus. Served with a Balsamic Vinaigrette. This salad was huge! I love that Flore puts so many fresh vegetables into their salads!! It had a great portion of quinoa so if your a quinoa person like myself this is the salad for you!! A  tangy delightful dressing made

this thing killer! MHM. I have to admit that while the food at Flore is amazing my favorite thing about eating here is the dessert..Today I got the “ Wheat Free Chocolate Cupcake” ($3.75) Wheat Free Vegan Chocolate Batter with Chocolate Chips and a Creamy Vanilla Frosting. OH MY WORD this is one of the most delicious cupcakes I’ve ever had!! I don’t even have words to describe how tasty this was, you just have to try it for yourself;) Once again a successful meal at Flore. Keep it healthy all the time kiddos!

OK so I feel like everytime I try a new vegan place in California I say it’s my favorite, but they all are SO AMAZING ..they have all become favorites in their own way! seitan.. This is one of the greatest salads ever created.. I mean such a simple title { “The Salad”} but such complex ingredients! nom, nom. We also got the “ Southwestern Seitan Quesadilla“ ($8.95) Whole Wheat Quesadilla of Cashew Cheese, Seasoned Seitan, Tomato & Shredded Lettuce served with Cilantro Cream, Pico De Gallo & Daikon Sprouts. *Best* quesadilla I have ever eaten. HUGE portion for such a low price!! Full of juicy grilled seitan and fresh veggies.. incredible my friends really. NOW onto the killer.. They have a crazy bakery case full of cupcakes, cakes, cheesecakes, pure eye candy.. and the second we walked in my mom had her eye on a certain something in the case..which is what we ended up going with! “Chocolate Strawberry Cake” ($5.75) Layers of Chocolate Cake filled with a Vanilla Frosting and Strawberries. THIS THING WAS overwhelmingly good tasting! I don’t even have enough words to describe the taste.. we specifically asked for the big piece -because it looked so yummy .. so they put it on a plate and wrote ” big plate” on it with ‘chocolate sauce’.. funny boys;)  Really if you eat one thing while your in LA make it this cake- you won’t be sorry. Flore is such a great place- you should definitely check it out!! Keep it clean and delicious!
