Today was a rainy, gloomy day which is no fun for going out, but the perfect kind of day to stay in and bake! That is exactly what I did:) Today I chose to make “Strawberry Banana Bread”: Made with Almond Milk($2.79), Bananas($.99/lb), Strawberries($3.99), Stevia($11.99), Cinnamon($5.99), Whole Wheat Flour($2.69), Baking Soda & Powder($1.49), Vanilla Extract($5.99), and Maple Syrup($7.99). HOW TO: 1/4 Cup Almond Milk, 5 Browning Bananas, 2 Tbsp of Stevia ( or 1/2 cup brown sugar), 1 Tsp.
of Cinnamon, 2 Cups Whole Wheat Flour, 1 Tsp. Baking Powder, 1/2 Tsp. Baking Soda, 1 Tsp. Vanilla Extract, & 2 Tbsp. Maple Syrup. Steps: 1. Preheat oven to 350 Degrees, 2.Whisk Non-Dairy Milk and 1 tsp. of Vanilla together and set aside, 3.Cream Bananas with Stevia and Strawberries until smooth and Creamy,4. Whisk Spices, Flour, baking Soda, and Baking Powder Together, 5. Add Milk & Banana Mixture and all other ingredients and stir until combined, 6. bake for 45 minutes to an hour. Simple as that! It was scrumptious! Thick and
lots of fresh bananas and berries inside. The Maple Syrup gives it that little extra sweet kick- which is fantastic! I love how simple vegan baking can be! * All of my ingredients were purchased at Wholefoods.
