Fratelli Cafe
Today I stumble upon Fratelli Cafe on Melrose for a nice lunch:) They are right across the street from one of my favorites M Cafe – but I decided to try something new today. Fratelli Cafe is not 100% vegan but has a “Very Vegan” menu that is FULL of vegan goodness! They have Wraps, Salads, Breakfast Items, Sandwiches, and great teas & coffees. They have Soy
Goji Tea & Fruit
Cheese, Tofurkey, “chicken”, and tofu. They have really brought so many vegan choices to their cafe- and Im so glad! First thing I noticed was the super friendly guy at the counter, when I told him I was vegan he gave me some great recommendations and also offered to make anything I specifically came up with! I decided to stick with a his recommendations and it was a good decision:) I started off with a cup of “Goji Berry tea”($1.75) Fresh Plump Goji Berries brewed with hot water and natural flavors. This was some scrumptious tea.. what is really cool about it is that after your done drinking it, you can tear open the bag and eat the goji berries. mhm! Mexican Cilantro Wrap
Melon. Just a simple little appetizer but super fresh and juicy fruit! Now for my main entree I chose the “Mexican Cilantro Wrap” ($10.95) ‘Chicken’, Lettuce, Tomato, Salsa, Red Onions, Avocado, Cilantro Dressing, Veganaise, and Shredded Soy Mozzarella. Wow- this is quite possibly the yummiest wrap I’ve had. It literally just melted in my mouth. It was stuffed full of ingredients! It’s served with

a side salad which was just as fresh and tasty as the wrap. So happy I chose this!! I really enjoyed my visit to Fratelli, the only thing is no vegan baked goods (* they use to have them brought in, but that is no more) .. Hopefully they’ll bring some good vegan baked goods in!!
