"Tempeh Wrap" ($8.75)

Went back to one of my favorite little sandwich cafes today ‘Snice in the West Village for a quick bite and tried something new:) Today I tried the “Smoked Tempeh Wrap” ($8.75) mixed greens, cilantro, avocado, tomatoes, and spicy chipotle dressing. This was a gigantic wrap! I took half of it home! It was so flavorful and delicious. Very refreshing and light. A great choice for todays main dish! I also got a new side today “Side Quinoa” (?) Quinoa mixed with chickpeas, red beans, and fresh veggies. I really enjoyed this quinoa! Full of healthy beans. Very light and fluffy the way quinoa should be! All in all once again a fantastic lunch at ‘Snice:) Eat Clean!

"Pumpkin Pecan Muffin"

"Banana Chocolate Chip and Apple Bran Muffin"

"Philly Style Seitan"

On a gloomy, rainy day in NYC there is no better place to enjoy a nice early lunch then at ‘Snice. A great place to grab a muffin and hot tea or a great sandwich or salad on a cold day. That is exactly what I did.. I arrived a bit early to relax a little do some homework and read so I decided to try some of there muffins ( before you get worried I only ate one but tasted each to review for you.. the leftovers are for later :):)}. I got the “ Pumpkin Pecan Muffin” ($2.50) Fresh Pumpkin mixed with a healthy heart batter with Pecans and Raisins.” I adore this muffin, brings fall right into action. Smooth pumpkin with crunchy pecans and moist raisins. spectacular. mhmm. I also tried the “Banana Chocolate Chop Muffin” ($2.50) Fresh Bananas mixed with gooey Chocolate Chips. I love any muffin with banana in it ( which is funny because I don’t really like bananas alone) , it makes the batter so delicious! This muffin was no exception I love this muffin! Last but certainly not least the ” Apple Raisin Spice Muffin” ($2.50) Fresh chunks of Apple with Cinnamon and fresh Raisins.” Another muffin reminding me once again that summer is gone and fall is coming along.. This tasted phenomenal and I can’t wait to finish it off! Some of the best muffins I’ve had.. really enjoyed.. For lunch today I ordered the ” Philly Style Seitan Sandwich ($8.75) Seitan with Soy Cheese Peppers and Onions served with a side Salad. This was a great sandwich! I got mine served on whole wheat bread and added some lettuce which made it even better. The soy cheese makes it moist and I love the grill flavor of the peppers and onions. Such a great sandwich..almost like being in ol’ Philly;) Another ‘Snice experience in the West Village! P.S. this place is cash only so don’t forget to leave the plastic at home and use the green:) Eat Clean!:)

‘Snice

So I decided to go to one of my favorite places that I recently discovered here in NY. ‘Snice. a quaint little cafe on 8th avenue that I adore. I had reviewed the “Tempeh Reuben” in a previous post which was great, but today I decided to try a little something new. “The Cubano Panini ( $8.75) made with soy ham, pickles, and vegan cheese. Simple but delicious! The perfect crunch of toasty wheat bread with the crisp pickles and gooey “cheese” in between. This was a great sandwich and a perfect lunch. I also tried there “Agave Sweetened Macaroon” {{not sure of the price.. $1 or $1.50?) a simple small, thin cookie, with fresh coconut and a creamy batter. Generally Im not a big macaroon fan but this little bite of Heaven was delightful, not to much coconut which is what normally turns me off the macaroon and it wasn’t extra thick which I like. A fantastic lunch today like always it was ‘Snice ;). Eat Clean, and healthy kiddos:)

S’Nice: NYC

So I tried a new place in the city ‘Snice- a quaint little place filled with young people reading and older people enjoying the calm of the restaurant. I read  Quarry Girls Post about ‘SNice and I knew I had to try it out. She ordered the Tempeh Reuben ( $8.75) and it looked so amazing thats exactly what I ordered! The sandwich was absolutely amazing! Whole wheat toast lightly toasted with with tempeh, sauerkraut, vegan thousand island dressing and soy cheese. yum. this was like the most amazing grilled cheese you could possibly ever have then add tempeh and all the goodies listed above. A perfect combination, I don’t know how they do it but it is divine. Generally it comes with a side of greens but they
had just brought out fresh broccoli with red pepper flakes so I had to have that ($1.50 extra for changing). The broccoli was delicious as well the flavor was fantastic! After lunch I ordered one (ok I took another one for later;) } Energy Cookie ( $2.75) Full of pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, raisins, cranberries, and other dried fruits all pulled together with oats- simply put Heavenly. I don’t

Tempeh Reuben ( $8.75)

think I can find anything to compain about at this restaurant. I will most definitely be coming back. They have a HUGE menu with almost to many choices to decide ( I asked for a recommendation and knowing how much quarry girl liked it, I had to taste)  . They offer smoothies, desserts, sandwiches, paninis, salads, and breakfast. ( lunch starts at 11) . SO head on out and try ‘Snice you won’t be disappointed:) Eat clean and healthy kiddos:)
